From an idea that began in 2016 with a visit to the Rhine-Erft Rally in Nideggen and a drive along the Eifel circuit - organized by the Grevenbroich classic car enthusiasts - a concrete idea finally emerged to drive along the former race track with pre-war vehicles.
We would be delighted if we could drive and experience the former Eifel circuit together with you and your vehicles on July 14, 2024. The Eifelrundfahrt1922 is an invitation event for pre-war vehicles with a driving route (approx. 125km) - including the former race track (33km, 86 bends and a difference in altitude of 265m), which is to be completed on the basis of a route recommendation.

Enjoy the afternoon with like-minded people on our Eifel country tour. This is followed in the evening with a "Willkom-Abend" and a welcome drink in the "Alte Fahrerlager". There you can enjoy your dinner in a relaxed atmosphere.

1. Conditions of participation

The Eifelrundfahrt1922 commemorates the historic races with a gathering of pre-war vehicles,

which took place on the former Eifel circuit around Nideggen from 1922 to 1926.

Together with an Eifel country drive and the Wilkomm evening on Saturday, there will be plenty of driving fun with a drive on Sunday morning and a drive on the former race track on Sunday afternoon.

The 6th Eifelrundfahrt 1922 is an invitation-only event.

The decision on participation is based on vehicle history criteria and lies with the organization management. The vehicles must be in essentially original condition. Confirmation of participation will be made in writing by the race management and is only effective upon receipt of the entry fee.

The organizer reserves the right to refuse the participation of replicas and historically incorrect vehicles. The event is open to two to four-wheeled motor vehicles built up to 1939. Exceptions are possible in individual cases. Only properly registered and insured vehicles will be accepted, as well as vehicles with a red 07 license plate. In order to achieve an authentic overall appearance, the race management assumes that the participants will appear in period clothing (racing suits, jerseys, boots and overalls) as they were worn before the Second World War.
Entry deadline is May 30, 2024 or when the maximum possible number of participants is reached.

3. Eifler Landpartie / Welcome Evening - Saturday, July 13, 2024
As an option, we are offering an Eifel country tour on Saturday (July 13) in the afternoon and a welcome evening for participants who have already arrived. For organizational reasons, this will take place this year in Abenden at Haus Mühlbach.

Sleeping place for your darling
So that you can sleep peacefully, we offer you to store your vehicles in a secure hall from July 13-14, 2024. Max. 18 cars possible. Places will be allocated according to the number of applications received.

4. Application
Applications must be sent to the organizer using the application form.
The form is now available online on our homepage www.eifelrundfahrt1922.de.
The entry fee must be transferred within 7 days of receipt of the start confirmation (sent by the race organizers).

The final confirmation of participation in the Eifelrundfahrt1922 will only be given after receipt of the entry fee by a confirmation from the organizer. Applications will only be processed after receipt of payment.
The registration deadline for the 6th Eifelrundfahrt1922 will be announced on the homepage of the Eifelrundfahrt1922.  
5. Entry fee / refunds
The entry fee is a regret fee. The organization of such an event is associated with considerable expenses and financial advance payments. If the application is withdrawn after the start has been confirmed up to 8 weeks before the event, 40% of the entry fee will be refunded. Thereafter, a pro rata refund is at the discretion of the organizer and will only be made in cases of special hardship. In the event of force majeure, e.g. natural disasters, strikes or legal driving bans, no refund will be made.

6. Exclusion of liability
The organizer rejects any liability towards the participants for personal injury, property damage and financial loss. By submitting the entry form, the participants waive any right of action or recourse against the organizer, its agents or helpers, as well as against drivers or co-drivers of third party vehicles participating in the event, against authorities or any other persons connected with the organization of the event for themselves and their relatives for any accident or damage suffered in connection with the event. Furthermore, participants waive the right to legal recourse for themselves and their relatives. Participants take part in this competition at their own risk and bear civil and criminal liability for all damage caused by them or their vehicles. An organizer's liability insurance has been taken out.

 7. Red 07 license plates
An insurance confirmation for the red 07 number of the registered vehicle must be submitted with the registration.

8. Photos/DGSVO
The pictures taken by the organizer during the 6th Eifelrundfahrt1922 may be used by the organizer without restriction. The storage of participant data is necessary for the organizational preparation of the event as well as for the evaluation of the ride. With the registration you agree to the storage for these purposes.
